Ubuntu in VPS
Ubuntu is available with all of our VPS services and you can get a VPS running it in less than sixty minutes. 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the OS are available, so you can choose the one which you need when the software that you would like to run on your web hosting server has particular system requirements in this regard. You can also select whether your Ubuntu-powered VPS should be installed with no Control Panel, in which case you'll have full root access and you can install anything through a console; or if the Hepsia Control Panel should be set up on it, in which case you'll have an online interface and all the required web server, MySQL, FTP, electronic mail server, etc. software will be pre-installed. The root access in the second case will be more limited, but this type of installation is more efficient for users with less experience. We will also keep your Ubuntu up-to-date on a regular basis when you add our Managed Services upgrade. You will be able to do this throughout the VPS order process or at any later time from your billing Control Panel.
Ubuntu in Dedicated Hosting
If the applications that you want to run require Ubuntu and a lot of resources, you can select our Linux dedicated hosting and add this OS to your order with a single click. You can choose between the 32-bit and the 64-bit release of the Operating System, depending on which release your apps need in order to work properly and to get the most of the server hardware. Due to the fact that you will have full root access, you will have full control over the software environment on your machine and you'll be able to set up anything you would like. The Ubuntu-powered server does not include a web hosting Control Panel, and you can manage your content from a Secure Shell console, yet if you would like, you can set up a third-party Control Panel and use a graphical interface to take care of your sites. If you don't want to lose time managing your web hosting server, you can use the Managed Services package, that includes many tasks done by our system administrators on your behalf. The upgrade comes with routine updates of your Ubuntu OS as well.
