There are two services you'll need for a working web site - a domain and a hosting plan for it. If you type the domain in your browser, you see the content that’s uploaded within the web hosting account, but if that domain address is not linked to such an account or to an email service, it is parked. Put simply, the domain address is registered and you're its owner, but it lacks content of its own. As a substitute, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” page from the registrar company, or it may be forwarded to some other URL of your choice. The benefit of parking a domain address is that you can keep it and be sure that nobody else is going to take it. In the meantime, it will not block a slot for a hosted domain name in your account. You can also park domains if you have a .com, for instance, and you register domain names with other extensions like .net, .org or country-code ones to forward them to the main website in order to protect a brand name.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Hosting

With each and every semi-dedicated server that we provide you will have the freedom to park as many domains that are registered with us as you want. Considering that only the registrar company can offer a parking feature, you can't park domain names that are only hosted on our advanced cloud hosting platform. From the Domain Manager section of your Hepsia hosting CP you can park and un-park domains with just a few clicks and filter all domains you have by their status, for much easier management. We provide a number of templates you can use and if you prefer, you can also add some custom text to any one of them. If you choose to un-park a domain and host it inside your account, you will not have to do anything manually - our system will set up a domain folder inside the File Manager section and will set up all of the needed DNS records so that your domain works properly and starts opening the content that you upload for it on our servers.
